This Privacy Policy ("privacy policy") applies to the following mobile applications published by Nadia and Martin:

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our apps.

1. Information we do NOT collect

We believe in minimizing data collection. Therefore, we want to be explicitly clear about what we do not collect:

  • No personal information: Our apps do not require user registration or an account. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal identifiers.
  • No learning data: All of your learning progress, including quiz scores, study history, and saved questions, is stored solely on your personal device. This data is private to you and is not transmitted to our servers or collected by us.
  • No sensitive data: We do not intentionally collect any information that could reveal your immigration status, citizenship, or other sensitive details.

2. Information collected by third-party services

While we do not collect your data directly, our apps use third-party services that may collect anonymous information to function and improve. These services are provided by Google and are governed by their own Privacy Policies.

The third-party services we use are:

  • Google AdMob: Displays advertisements within our apps. AdMob may use device identifiers and other data to serve personalized ads. You can manage your ad preferences directly through your device settings.
  • Google Play Services & Firebase Analytics: These services help us understand how our apps are used in an anonymous, aggregated way (e.g., which features are popular, session length). This data does not identify you personally and is used solely to improve the app experience.
  • Firebase Crashlytics: This service collects crash reports and log data if the app encounters an error. This information helps us diagnose and fix bugs to ensure the app's stability. The data is anonymous and relates to the device's state at the time of the crash.

3. In-app purchases

Our apps may offer in-app purchases. All payments are processed directly by the Google Play Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to any of your financial information. Please review Google's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your payment data.

4. How we use information

The anonymous information provided by third-party services is used for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our apps
  • To improve, test, and monitor the effectiveness of our apps
  • To diagnose and fix technical issues and ensure stability
  • To display advertisements

  • We do NOT sell data: We do not sell, trade, or rent user data.
  • Third-party service providers: As described above, anonymous data is processed by Google services (AdMob, Firebase) under their privacy policies.
  • Legal compliance: We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • Business transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, user data held by our third-party services might be among the transferred assets. You will be notified via an update to this Privacy Policy.

6. Your rights and controls

Since we do not collect personal data directly, your primary controls are with your device and the third-party services.

  • Access, update, or delete: As all your learning data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You can clear the app's data or uninstall the app to permanently delete all local progress.
  • Opt-out of personalized ads: You can manage your ad preferences through app's Settings -> Ads Personalization -> Personalize adverts.
  • Push notifications: Our apps request permission to send push notifications for study reminders. You can enable or disable these notifications at any time through your device settings.

7. Data security and retention

  • Security: Your learning data is stored locally on your device. We rely on the built-in security of the Android operating system to protect this data.
  • Retention: We do not retain any user data on our servers. Anonymous data collected by third-party services is retained according to their respective policies. When you uninstall the app, all local data on your device is removed.

8. Legal compliance and international use

Our apps are available worldwide. The anonymous data processed by our third-party providers may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of your country. By using our apps, you consent to such transfer.

9. Children's privacy

Our apps are intended for a general audience and are suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this privacy policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, we advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted.
